Responsible for molding plastic into a uniform melt and establishing pressure, consisting of screws, barrels, hoppers, machine heads, and molds. The extrusion system function of the waste material recycling granulator is consistent with that of the plastic molding key link, and the main extruder of the parent-child granulator also follows this basic structural logic.
1. Screw: The core component of an extruder, determining its application range and productivity, made of high-strength corrosion-resistant alloy steel.
2.Barrel: A metal cylindrical body (made of alloy steel or composite steel pipe) that is used in conjunction with a screw to complete processes such as plastic crushing, softening, melting, plasticizing, ventilation, and compaction. The length is 15-30 times the diameter to ensure that the plastic is fully plasticized.
3. Hopper: There is a device at the bottom to adjust/cut off the material flow rate, and observation holes and calibration devices are installed on the side.
4. Head and mold: The head includes an alloy steel inner sleeve and a carbon steel sheath, matched with a forming mold, which can convert the rotational motion of the melt into linear motion and provide forming pressure; A tubular coating is formed through the annular gap between the mold core and the mold sleeve, with optimized flow paths such as diversion sleeves and pressure equalization rings, and a correction device to adjust concentricity. The machine head is divided into oblique machine head (120 °) and right angle machine head according to the angle between the material flow direction and the screw centerline, and is equipped with external heating and temperature measurement devices.

The function is to drive the screw, provide the required torque and speed, usually consisting of a motor, reducer, and bearings. Heating and cooling devices are necessary conditions for the plastic extrusion process to proceed.
1. Heating device: Multi electric heating (resistance or induction heating), with heating plates installed on the body, neck, and head, heating the cylinder from the outside to bring the plastic to the process temperature.
2. Cooling device: Ensure that the plastic is within the process temperature range, eliminate excess heat, and avoid problems such as plastic decomposition. Cylinder cooling is divided into water cooling and air cooling. Air cooling is commonly used for small and medium-sized applications, while water cooling or combined cooling is used for large applications; Screw cooling mainly adopts central water cooling, which can improve material conveying rate and stabilize adhesive volume; Hopper cooling is to prevent plastic particles from sticking and blocking due to temperature rise, ensuring the normal operation of transmission components.

Selected according to the different purposes of the unit, it mainly includes wire laying, straightening, preheating, cooling, traction, instruments, spark testing machines, coiling devices, etc. It can also be equipped with cutting machines, hair dryers, printing equipment, etc.
1. Straightening device: solves problems such as eccentricity and surface scratches of extruded waste. There are types of devices including drum type (divided into horizontal and vertical), pulley type (divided into single pulley and pulley group), inclined wheel type, pressure wheel type (divided into horizontal and vertical), etc., which have both dragging and stabilizing tension functions.
2. Preheating device: During insulation and sheath extrusion, a preheating core is required to remove moisture and oil, avoid sheath pores, eliminate pressure fluctuations caused by temperature differences, and stabilize extrusion volume; Multi electric heating requires large capacity, fast heating, and a temperature usually similar to that of the machine head.
3. Cooling device: Quickly cool the formed plastic coating after leaving the machine head to prevent deformation. Water cooling is commonly used, divided into rapid cooling (direct cooling with cold water, suitable for PVC) and slow cooling (divided into hot water, warm water, and cold water stages, suitable for PE and PP).
